Dr. Andrew Nalin grew up in western Washington and graduated from Bothell High School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (1990) and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (1998) from the University of Washington. After dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center (1999) and served our country in the United States Air Force for nine years. In 2005, he completed his Orthodontic Residency in the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Nalin is a published author and is currently involved with research at the University of Washington. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Washington State Society of Orthodontists, and the Mount Baker District Dental Society.
Dr. Nalin has also been named as one of America’s Top Dentists for 2020 in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s “Guide to America's Top Dentists,” an award he also has received each year since 2009! This prestigious recognition is highly sought after by dentists and orthodontists nationwide. He was also voted by his peers to be featured in WA Magazine as a “topDENTIST” each year since 2011.
Dr. Nalin and his staff stay up-to-date on the latest technology and methods in orthodontics by attending regular continuing education seminars at the national, regional, and local levels, and every year he earns at least three times the amount of hours of continuing education required by law to best serve his patients. He is also the founder of the Perfectly Clear Aligner System, an esthetic option to correct your teeth and/or bite.
He is an active member of the community, supporting local schools, organizations, and sports, including coaching baseball and basketball. He and his wife, Sheri, have one son, Michael, and two dogs, Mara Jade and Logan. A well-known gadget freak and computer and electronics expert, Dr. Nalin loves to read, play video games and sports with his son, and spend time with his family outdoors. He is an avid sports fan and loves to talk sports with his patients and their families.
