Well, here’s your chance! Our office is trying to increase our internet presence, and we need your help. We need our awesome patients and/or their families to review our practice online, on sites like Facebook, Yelp, healthgrades.com, ratemds.com, Google, etc. For every positive review you post, we will give you an entry into our drawing for a new iPad mini to be given away on February 28, 2013! You can have multiple entries by posting to multiple sites. We ask that you print out a copy of your review and bring it in to us, or email us a copy at info@nalinorthodontics.com, so we can verify that your post was successful and who is posting (to get an entry.) Good luck, and thanks in advance. By the way, if there are any problems or negative comments, we would like to address them personally, so please let us know. We are always trying to improve our level of service and to make each visit as enjoyable as possible; if we are not meeting and exceeding your expectations, we need to know so we can do better!

Thanks,
Dr. Nalin and Staff of Nalin Orthodontics

Check out this article; it's about young people in several Asian countries letting some guy in the market put braces on them for "fashion".

While I agree that braces are quite cool and fashionable, I don't recommend letting anyone but a trained orthodontist put them on, and only if you need them! Who knew, you can actually die from braces (not in our office!)

A patient of ours is doing something pretty amazing, please read below:

Hi, my name is Chloe Silver, and I am a 10 year old fourth grader in the Mount Vernon School District.  I have decided to donate my birthday to kids with cancer at Children’s Hospital in Seattle.  You see, I am inspired by kids with Cancer who are not allowed to have the “normal” life that I have been blessed with.  I have everything that I need so that is why I have chosen to raise money to help them with their medical treatment that they need to get back to their life before cancer.  I was inspired by a story that I heard last year from a guest speaker that came to my church.  He told me about a girl named Rachel Beckwith who decided to give up her 9th birthday to raise money for fresh drinking water wells in Africa.  He said Rachel wanted to raise $300.00 and when she was $80.00 short of her goal she was in a really bad car accident. Well the night before he told that story, Rachel went to live with Jesus.  I knew at that moment that I wanted to give up my birthday for kids with Cancer.  I thought about it for a long time and decided it was the right thing to do.  I explained to my mom what I wanted to do and I told her that I was a little scared because I didn’t know if I was ready to die yet.  I thought that in order to give up my birthday that I would have to die like Rachel did.  My mom told me that it doesn’t work that way but what I realized is if Jesus is ready for me to go live with Him, then I am ready to go.  So would you please help me help my friends at Children’s Hospital? For my birthday month (October) allof the money that I receive will be donated to the Cancer division at Children’s Hospital in Seattle.  I would love it if you would help me! I have a goal of $1000.00.  So if you want to help please make checks/money orders payable to: Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation or Coins for Chloe. You can contact my mom Jamie for more information at coinsforchloe@yahoo.com or make a deposit at any Union Bank location by simply telling them that you want it to go into the coins for Chloe account. If you want, you can visit my blog too at coinsforchloe’skidswithcancer@blogspot.comThank you!  ~CHLOE~
